Lauren Kessler: Finding Life in the Land of Alzheimer's
Our guest this week is Lauren Kessler, writer, narrative journalist, and author of of literary nonfiction.
Kessler has written six books of literary nonfiction, including Finding Life in the Land of Alzheimer's: One Daughter's Hopeful Story (formerly titled, Dancing With Rose). The book was written after Kessler worked in an Alzheimer's care facility for four and a half months.
The program features a discussion about that book that was recorded during the 2009 Montana Festival of the Book.
